Host An Equity Dinner!

Tired of endless talk, or futile Debates? Frustrated with the persistent political division?

Or our ability to take meaningful action?

We feel you.

Do you also believe somewhere that there is a better way?

How about a party? Or better yet- a Dinner party?

We say- equity does not have to be hard.

Start with a Dinner Party!

There is something about food that is powerful and deceptively simple and healing.

For over 20 years, we have supported some variation of the Chicago Dinner model all across the country. We have helped organizations, school systems, and places of worship begin or sustain their equity journey with a Dinner event.

Your Dinner can be simple with 8 guests, one host and one facilitator.

Your Dinner could also be more involved with 237 guests, 32 tables, a one person play, an actor, a DJ, poet, and a host organization with volunteer trained facilitators for each table.

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Our curated process will make your Dinner successful. You will not have to worry about people not talking, or a rogue guest taking over the conversation.

We will be your guide. You will be the Host.

You may be thinking- this is a great and simple idea. You could pull this event together yourself. It is just a party….. But if you want it to be flawless… even seasoned hosts hire coordinators, chefs, and entertainers.

We have over 20 years of experience using the Chicago Dinner model all across the country.

We provide a curated “Menu Card” for the event.

Our process helps your guests go deeper with the conversation and inspiring action.

We offer coordination before, during and after the event.

Dinners invite people out of isolation. Your guests get to see others who are also passionate about real change.

As a host, you can begin a series of conversations to address the intersectional realities of racism, homelessness, poverty, community violence and gender inequity.

With the dinners, you can form partnerships with your local government, community stakeholders, arts organizations, schools, business, restaurants, places of worship, health care, parks, and law enforcement.

Events can be In-person, Virtual or Hybrid.
